Description:
Ahmadbady has discovered some vulnerabilities in mxCamArchive, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information and malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) The application does not properly restrict access to the "archive/config.ini" file. This can be exploited to disclose system passwords by requesting the file directly.

2) Input passed to the "description" parameter in admin/admin.php is not properly sanitised before being written to the database, which can be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code.

These vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.2. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Restrict access to the archive/config.ini file (e.g. via .htaccess).
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
